I am thinking of taking Propecia (Finasteride), but i have read that it works by blocking the creation of DHT, and that also it should not be handled by pregnant women as it could affect the development of the sex organs of the male foetus.
Does using this drug lower testosterone levels across the whole body, or does it act specifically in the scalp area? I know they list potential lowered libido as a side effect, but couldnt there be much more wide ranging effects if it lead to a body-wide lowering of testosterone levels.
