While Im not your Mom, I too, was once a teen, so I know all about those dreadful zits and the lengths a kid will go to in order to be rid of them. Popping a pimple requires that you pinch it from the sides. In your zeal to kill it once and for all, your fingernails might also dig into the surrounding skin, actually creating a couple of little unsightly cuts. Even worse, you might get an infection from germs creeping into the skin through the large opening you left when a pimple is popped.
The bottom line is that you end up worse off than when you started. What to do is the question.
